SIPS have been working with the Sandwell Virtual School to provide music lessons in schools for Children In Care from Year 4 upwards.

Children In Care students also have free access to all of our ensembles including; string groups; brass groups; orchestras; rock bands; tabla group; asian vocals; choir; inclusive bands; samba group; classical guitar group; community groups and more. All for free! (some groups have a graded level for entry while other are from complete beginner, give our office a call for more info)

We provide the opportunity to see professional orchestras at ticketed events in Birmingham. Over the last two years we have been to see 'Cartoon classics' and 'Music from Harry Potter'

We also run a band called IGNITE which is made up from Children In Care students. Everyone is welcome and valued regardless of skill level or instrument.

IGNITE meet together every term and strive to make music in a fun, inclusive way The goal is to help every young person achieve their best while making new friends and overcoming challenges.
